Meet & greet on arrival at NJP station/IXB Airport ( Bagdogra, Siliguri). Welcome to Bhutan from  Phuentsholing – Drive and entry permit processing at Phuentsholing Regional Immigaration Office. Check into Hotel and overnight at Pheuntsholing.

After Breakfast, Check out and obtain the permit and drive to Thimphu via the wonderful mystic town Gedu, which is about 9000 ft above the sea over Chukha Dam. On the way visit Crocodile Park,Kharbandi Gumpa,Wangkha waterfalls and a brief  halt at Chujom to take photographs of confluence of two rivers of Bhutan,Thimphu Chu and Paro Chu. Reach Thimphu in the evening. Overnight at a Hotel inThimphu.

Thimphu Sightseeing - Early morning breakfast - Thimphu, is the capital and biggest city of Bhutan. It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan and the surrounding valley is the Thimphu District situated at an average elevation of nearly 2400 meters - Sightseeing includes:

Buddha Point at Kuensel Podrang Park.

Here one can stop for a breath taking view of Thimphu city or start an independent meditation or begin a moderate hike around the Buddha tower temple.

BBS Tower-

 The area offers spectacular views of the Thimphu valley below where a panic lunch would be an ideal option. On the way back, drive to Takin Zoo; meet the rare National animal of Bhutan.

Tashichhoe Dzong:

               Golden Throne of the King, Central Monastic body, government ministries and August National Assembly Hall.

The Memorial Chorten:

Join the Buddhist monks and laymen performing their daily ritual of turning the giant red wheels of Dharma at the splendor National Memorial Chorten with its shining golden finial dedicated to the third King of Bhutan.

National Library: Witness the largest book in the world and magnificent collection of books that articulates various schools of thought.

 The Institute of Traditional Medicine:

 An age old traditional Medicine Research and practice Institute that run parallel to modern allopathic treatment.

Centenary Farmer’s Market:

Country’s largest Farmer’s Market where farm produces from 20 districts flock togather to sell their products including organic vegetables and other eatables often found only in Bhutan.

Changlimithang National Studio:

 A historic public stadium used for National events, celebrations and Bhutan’s coveted football ball and Archery Range.

Institution of Zorig Chusum:

Houses Painting School where students learn thirteen different Traditional Crafts including paper making, masonry, painting, sculpture, embroidery, wood crafting, gold & silver smithy and much more. Night halt at Thimphu.

The Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as "Druk Wangyal Chortens" have been built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother. Apart from the chortens there is a monastery called the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang (temple), built in honour of the fourth Druk Gyalpo (head of the state of Bhutan), King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The open ground in its front yard is a venue for the annual Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival.

Paro Dzongkhag is a district and a spectacular town valley in Bhutan. It is one of the most historic and beautiful valley in Bhutan.
Paro Airport is the sole international airport of the four airports in the Kingdom of Bhutan. It is 6 km from Paro in a deep valley on the bank of the river Paro Chhu

Take a day walk to the ‘Tiger’s Nest’, the sacred Taktshang monastery which clings to the rock face 900 metres above the valley floor. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown to the site riding on a tigress. He subsequently meditated here for three months. You can have lunch at the Taktshang cafeteria from where you get a spectacular view of the monastery. 


Visit to Dumtse Lhakahng (a 7th century monument) on the way to National Muesum, Paro Dzong, paro wooden bridge, Ugyen pelri Palace and back to Paro Town for lunch. After lunch visit to Kichu Monastry again a most sacred and ancient 8th century hallmark religious site, Drukyal Dzong back to Bird eye view point of Paro International Air port and to Hotel and overnight at Paro.

After breakfast this morning, you will  travel to Pheuntsholing, The frontier town, it is a thriving commercial centre, situated directly at the base of Himalayan foothills. It is a fascinating place where different ethnic groups mingle prominently Indian, Bhutanese and Nepalese. Evening leisure time pick Bhutan Shopping.

After Breakfast, check out , see off  to NJP Station/IXB Airport for your onward Journey.
